The Safari Cap offers the full protection that a mountaineer, kayaker, or hiker needs for those days when escape to the shade is out of the question. The removable skirt is attached to the cap by Velcro and keeps the sun off the neck, ears, and temples. It is made in three sections for a better fit, and slits between the sections enhance air flow to help cool the wearer. Drawstring and toggle closure on the front of the skirt allows precise control of ventilation and prevents flapping when the wind blows.
