The Ropeman Mark II is just as compact and nearly as lightweight as the original, however the durability and the ability to function on a broader range of rope diameters is available due to the new stainless steel cam. This new cam design replaces the ridges of the alloy cam with conical pins in order to function on smaller diameter ropes. It's destined to become an essential piece of gear on every mountain adventure.
