An excellent all around, heavy duty mountain travel boot. The Pinnacle takes backpacking and light mountaineering easily in its stride, thanks to sturdy uppers and a well-designed foot frame of nylon and fiberglass. Those uppers are flexible but plenty abrasion resistant, and a low slung back and thick cushion provide fine ankle comfort as well as support. Its clever foot frame incorporates a smoothly stable rocker for comfort and a supportive nylon/glass reinforced insole - with crampon insert at the heel – for climbing and snow/ice work.
