The lightweight Advanced Stuff Sack uses a unique roll top closure for keeping water out. Before the Advanced came along, there were only heavy, bulky dry bags for use in rafts and kayaks. These were inappropriate for hiking and backpacking ...and very expensive. The Outdoor Research design uses a big piece of Velcro on each end of the closure to form a low-bulk roll lock which is easy to open and close even when wearing bulky mittens. Nothing to break, freeze or fail when you're far from home in the savage sleet. All the other features of the Standard Stuff Sack are there. 8 sizes available!
