This offspring of a marriage between Crocodiles and Expeditions Crocodiles is just the baby for folks who spend many a weekend climbing in the Cascades or Rockies. Size and shape are idtentical to regular Crocodiles and are ideal for use with single boots and moderately thick clothing. The instep straps are replaceable (like Expedition Crocs) so one need not fear miles of trudging over sharp edged scree. To provide extra resistance to penetration by wayward crampon points, the leg section is made of 330d Cordura GORE-TEX® fabric; this is much tougher than Taslan GORE-TEX® fabric in regular Crocodiles. but less beefy than the 1000d Cordura armor on the expedition model.
