Mountain Hardwear's burliest ensemble, the GORE-TEX® XCR™ FTX Ultra Pant is made entirely from FTX Ultra, an amazingly soft but tremendously abrasion resistant face fabric. The pant is cut simply, with full side zips (with low bulk, easy access Simplex zips), and built in gaiters. The elasic waist and doubled velcro at the sides keep the pants on, and an integral belt lets you adjust the waist precisely. Optional suspenders are available, which create a drop seat system. For more minor nature calls, there's also a front fly.
