Both keep the load close to your back and squarely on your hips, thanks both to Osprey’s new BioForm hipbelt and to the unique, Recurve struts that run along the pack’s side panels. Linking suspension and frame to the pack itself, the Struts are tension-adjustable, so you can customize the pack’s ride for any endeavor. A separate bottom compartment lets you stow your sleeping bag with ease, and the lid converts to a fanny pack for short trips from base camp. Best of all, the packs compress across the front, letting you match them to the size of your load then lock it into stability.
